Shuttle

We are providing a shuttle on the wedding night from the town of Wimberley to the Ranch. It will run from Wimberley Inn to the Ranch starting at 4:30 and will make a couple of trips. If you plan to take the shuttle, please be there by 5:00! Anyone can go there to catch the shuttle; you don't have to be staying there!! It's only about a 10 mile drive but through curvy hill country roads. The shuttle will return to town until after the reception and will transport you from the ceremony site to the reception as well. Also, parking may be limited at the Ranch.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS OPTION IF YOU PLAN ON DRINKING!!!!!!

How To Dress

A lot of people have asked about what to wear. The crawfish boil is casual. The wedding is whatever you're most comfortable having a good ole time in. We would say nice jeans, khakis, nice shirt for the guys and a dress, nice jeans, slacks for girls. Wear your boots along with us and the entire wedding party!

I think you'll have a good time no matter how you decide to dress!

We have reserved the entire Wimberley Inn for guests of our wedding.  However, you have to call in order to make reservations because if you try and do it online, it will say "booked" because it is booked by us.  To reserve a room at the Wimberley Inn, simply call Denese at 512-847-3750 and tell her you want to book a room for the Getman/Trainer wedding.  She will help you out!  If she tells you in person (and not online) that they are booked, then they really are booked by guests of our wedding. 

We have also blocked rooms at Blanco Luxury Inn and Suites.  If you stay two nights and reference the Getman/Trainer wedding, you will receive discounted room rates.  Blanco is the same distance from the Red Corral Ranch as Wimberley is; however, it is about 24 miles from Wimberley.  In other words, the Red Corral Ranch is half-way between Wimberley and Blanco.  To reserve rooms at Blanco Luxury Inn and Suites, call 830-833-5697 and reference the Getman/Trainer wedding. 

Remember, you can also call K.C. Barnes (512-847-5898), but she does not work with the Wimberley Inn or Blanco Luxury Inn and Suites...you have to call these independently to book the rooms under the Getman/Trainer wedding room blocks.

You should have received your Save the Dates by now!  After receiving those, you should have received a post card from K.C. Barnes, who is with Wimberley Reservations and is working with us to help find you a perfect place to stay on our wedding weekend.  K.C. will help you find a place to stay that suits your needs, including the number in your party and your budget!

Also, remember that San Marcos is only about 25 minutes away and will have all of the chain hotels, which may be a more suitable option for some!

One last thing, as you know, our wedding is around Spring Break, so we encourage you to secure a nice, comfy place to lay your head as soon as possible!
